App for Green Events

Paper-free Green Events with EuroSPI App

In 2018 a project with a team of students at University of Applied Sciences Joanneum (FH Joanneum) in Graz with BA Laura Aschbacher (laura.aschbacher(at)iscn.com developed the first App in 2018 for EuroSPI. In 2019 the App development continued with a team of internal and external software developers and Laura as design expert forming the functions and design of the App. In 2020 the App becomes supported by a database system in the cloud and will include more features that allows to organise a paper free event with all relevant data (program, social events, local info etc.) on your mobile. The App runs on Android and Apple IOS.

ISCN is from 2020 onward offering the conference app also for other events.  The service idea is a paper-less and innovative form of conference program and onsite management using smart devices.

ASPICE Tools: Integrated Planning Tools with Effort Control

ISCN supported the improvement programs at suppliers of VW projects and in 2009 - 2013 developed a first version of a library which connects task tracking and requirements management systems with MS Project. The development continued up to 2020 where the library has been updated to support e.g. the connection between MS Project and RTC. It is also adapted for environments like Clearquest or JIRA.

With this connection development tasks with start date, end date, effort, grouping by release etc. are imported into MS Project and the resource view in MS Project automatically displays overloads. Also changes in MS Project can be used to update the entries in the related tracking tools. In ASPICE for MAN.3 such an effective planning and resource checking is require to fully achieve the MAN.3 level 1 and metrics help to achieve a level 2.

In ISCN we can either offer our tool services or we can help existing planning methods at customer side to be extended to support such views.

These concepts were developed over the last years by Dipl. Ing. ETH Bernhardt Steger (bsteger(at)iscn.com) and Dipl. Ing. Damjan Ekert (dekert(at)iscn.com).

ASPICE Tools: Metrics and Trend Reporting System for ASPICE Level 2 Performance Tracking

ISCN supported the improvement programs at suppliers to achieve a dashboard required for ASPICE level 2 and to track that 100% completion is achieved in all proces areas. ISCN also published a paper together with BOSCH and HELLA which was presented at the VW SQIL day. A team in ISCN developed a metric tool set that allows to export data from e.g. DOORS NG, RTC, PTC/MKS and in Excel (using a macro set) produces trend carts and metrics displaying the coverage.

With this tool set you can display the progress (e.g. requirements coverage and test coverage trend at different levels).

These concepts were developed over the last years by Dipl. Ing. Damjan Ekert (dekert(at)iscn.com), in coperation with Dr Jakub Stolfa (ISCN Group partner).

In ISCN we can either offer our tool services or we can help existing metrics databases at customer side to be extended to support such views.
